Music itself exists by virtue of the temporal dimension - this minimalist concept of time as the origin point for life and music is the essence of AEONN.
The combination of epic melodies with advanced sonic textures gives rise to a broad-spectrum of haunting atmospheres.
Designed to tell a story, the arrangements is supported by a contemporary instrumentation work where the purpose is to convey a genuine vision throughout the tracks.
For Piano Day 2015, Nicolas composed the instrumental track "An Immense Quiet Whole", a preview of his instrumental composition that would be continued later that year.
In late spring 2015, the desire to create a piano collection was born. Over a period of a month, Nicolas composed the nine instrumental tracks that would soon be released as the album named "INSTAR".
The album is out for Piano Day 2016 as a tribute to the instrument that inspired the tracks.
Shortly after working on the score for the short film "Jia" (Raphaël Bouchez & Hugo Lafitte), the idea to create an EP revolving around the main melodic theme lead Nicolas to compose four original tracks. Two orchestral works dwelling in a romantic territory and two electronic works conveying a sense of suspended musing, driven by synthetic arrangements.
The EP "Jia" is out in September 2018.
